The New Moon of December set the stage on several levels for the cosmos, offering the possibility of not only a highly dynamic and dramatic January, but also an energetically expansive year ahead earmarked and themed with harnessing the power of truth to unearth the power of change.
To have the new moon align with the seasonal and cyclic forces of the Winter Solstice on December 21 has given this annual rite of passage an added lift. But the gravitas of this particular phenomenon was most notably distinguished by the conjoining alignment of Pluto (planet of powerful transformations) with the Galactic Center of our Cosmos. This once-every-284-year event was further highlighted by its occurrence at 26 degrees of Sagittarius in harmonic step with five other planets in that sign of the zodiac ( and that's A LOT of Sagittarian energy!).
The universal impact of this planetary alignment is potentially quite profound and how we all harness and integrate its power into our every day lives may simply be a function of allowing for expanded awareness.

ARIES: (March 21-April 19):
For those who imbibe in suspension of disbelief in order to conjure the fantastical, this could be a month of hallucinogenic highs for you, Aries. Your powers of perception are operating at a pinnacle of prescience but could potentially be fueled by a diet of delusion. I highly applaud your visionary fable-weaving skills but must caution you to run your auto-fictionographical material through the reality mill at the end of each day. This way you'll be sure to speak the mind truth that others are truly ready to hear.
TAURUS: (April 20-May 20):
For you my Taurean friend, we see that the Sagittarian archer is pointing his arrow of truth straight into the heart of Scorpio's house of hidden power which, on the eve of the new moon, is packed with five planets seeking expansiveness in a cave of containment. If it all sounds a bit too claustrophobic, it is. This is where your no nonsense philosophical approach to rooting out all matters of truth and untruth will be of great benefit to you as you navigate the year ahead.
GEMINI: (May 21-June 20):
This will be your year to trek the torch into the trenches to illuminate both the light and the dark of your dual nature symbolized by the twins. As you begin your 2007, the celestial skies are asking that you view each encounter with every Tom, Dick and Harry, Teresa, Dorothy and Heather as merely a reflection of your soon-to-be expanded self. Love 'em, hate 'em, like 'em, lump 'em, but whatever you do, embrace them as your long lost twin.
CANCER: (June 21-July 22):
Out with the old and in with the new. Fire up a fresh new set of rules for 2007, Cancer. Believe it or not, this year's new year's resolution has got some traction to it with a winning formula of two parts discipline, one part fear, three parts passion and unlimited amounts of inspiration. The secret to harnessing this year of change ahead resides within your ability to methodically and routinely dose yourself with rituals of affirmation and applied faith throughout the year.
LEO: (July 23-Aug. 22):
Leo, have I got a forecast for you! Not only are you required to engage in some serious fun to kick off the new year, you're actually being asked by the cosmos to inspire others with your stylized brand of "devil may care" perilous play and feats of fun. As you may have guessed, this will require that you take center stage on the playground of life and assume a leadership role in all areas of amusement, recreation and creative self-expression. There's just one caveat you must adhere to: remember that everybody gets to play.
VIRGO: (Aug. 23-Sept. 22):
As the Buddhist teaching goes, "If you want to know about your past lives, look at your present conditions. If you want to know about your future lives, look at your present actions." Virgo, my friend, it is my belief that if you were to enshrine this as your philosophical foundation and use it to ignite your inspirational wellspring in the months to come, you would potentially achieve unprecedented karmic mileage on this one meditation.
LIBRA: (Sept. 23-Oct. 22):
Communication is key this month, Libra, and you'll be feeling a strong need to speak your piece which may put you at odds with your formerly fail-safe methods used to keep the peace. There is a hyper-charged upsurge from a voice within that may surprise even you with the unspoken truths that keep trying to jump out of your mouth this month. My best advise to you in managing this rebellious verbiage phenomenon is to envision the comic strip thought bubble overhead first and then edit where necessary before speaking the words.
SCORPIO: (Oct. 23-Nov. 21):
This would be your month to get passionate about the power of the purse. The stakes are high and sudden reversals of fortune would not be unheard of more than once. Gifted with a winning hand, you might want to explore your precepts about winning before closing out the game to collect your chips and go home. The new year's teaching may be that the bounty might be even larger if you keep the game in play.
SAGITTARIUS: (Nov. 22-Dec. 21):
If there is one month out of the 2007 calendar in which you will be tempted to overstep all limits and boundaries, exceed all previously held records of achievement, set your aspirations at stratospheric levels and burn the candle at both ends 24/7, this would be the month. Fortunately for you though, Sagittarius, you have an angel in the form of a celestial task-master who will not let you expire your fire before its time. What this means is that you will recognize new ways in which your vast spirit can travel further and accomplish more when supported by a daily dose of discipline.
CAPRICORN: (Dec. 22-Jan. 19):
For you Capricorn, I see an invitation to clean out some karmic cobwebs and weave some new pathways to success in the year ahead. In order to achieve these goals, you must set a 20-minute period aside each day to explore your unvisited halls of escapist fantasy to see if the walls are symbolically hung with motivational muses or fraught with emblems of failure. This will be a year to look to the beliefs and tenants upon which each and every one of your historical successes and failures has been built. AQUARIUS: (Jan. 20-Feb. 18):

PISCES: (Feb. 19-March 20):
Eyes wide open this month, Pisces, because you're going to be vacillating between two vastly different worlds and you mustn't lose track of the comings and goings between the here and there.
