CELESTIAL LIVING ARTS
How best to enjoy the art of living for March 2006

ARIES (March 21-April 19): Does it feel like it's been a long time since your last speeding ticket Aries? If so, March looks to be a banner month for you potentially overlooking the established speed limit…again. Miraculously, you may also be traveling in many directions at once - and this could put you at cross purposes to your end goal. There is a lot of ground to be covered, things to do, places to go and people to see. Here's the thing to keep in mind: your progress will be measured not in the volume/quantity/distance quotient of your conquests but in the quality of the exchanges along the way. See if an added note of sensitivity and patience doesn't just keep you speeding ticket and citation-free until April.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20): When I look at the starscape for you this month Taurus I hear a song in my head reminiscent of the time-changing '70's. The song, from Carole King's album "Tapestry" goes like this: "I feel the earth - move - under my feet, I feel the sky tumb-a-ling down…" In Greek mythology, Neptune (Poseidon) was dubbed "Earth Shaker," and, like the song goes, I think he may be preparing to rock the foundations of your world just a little bit. If you sense that a barrier has somehow been erected that disconnects the success of your outer-worldly life from the depths and riches of your inner soul, then this metaphorical ground-shaking event might be just the thing that will put you on the path of re-integration. So, before you "lose contro-o-o-ol, down to your very so-o-o-oul," I recommend you prepare for a reunion.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20):
The Buddha had much to say on the topic of wise speech with contemplations on such things as whether the words one speaks are factual, true, beneficial, endearing, agreeable - or none of the above. A meditation on mindful speech should be helpful to you this month Gemini, because you could easily misplace your nuggets of wisdom and blurt the wrong thing at the wrong time. It's not that your usual split-second timing is off per se, or even that you've missed a beat. It's more like, you may be listening to the wrong music entirely…(oops). For the month of March I send you a cautionary note to check your intentions and review your facts before you speak. Do this and I'm pretty sure that your urge to purge the truth will result in communications that are beneficial, endearing and agreeable too.

CANCER (June 21-July 22):
Things could potentially flow just swimmingly for you this month Cancer but there is one caveat. In order for you to truly reap these benefits and get in sync with the deeper undercurrents that are conspiring to carry you much further than you thought possible in this year to come, you have a little homework to do. Here it is: 10 minutes each day to feel your heart's deepest desire; 5 minutes to write it down along with one action you took that day toward that realization. On the mundane level, it can be an exercise in creative visualization. On the esoteric plane, it's an invitation to write your own ticket and paint your own reality. This is your month to be generous to all who show up for casting calls on your blank canvas of life.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): Leo, I see a pot of gold waiting for you just over the rainbow and the bridge that leads you to it will be laid with powerful alchemic substances. The question is of course, how does one tap these powerful elemental sources to erect the building blocks for such bridge construction in the first place. Turns out the elixir will be found in secrets revealed and the place to look will be none other than the inner cathedral of yours truly (you). As you seek and discover some of your inner mysteries you might want to ask your self why your subconscious ever put the kabash on these precious un-owned pieces of self anyway? Embrace them in entirety and welcome them with the warm rays of your Leo heart. Then… see what happens next.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): The March 14 full moon lunar eclipse in your sign this month Virgo, calls upon the servants of humanity to assure that we truly are stewarding a future that provides for the needs of all while allowing for the interests of many. On a more personal level, this might also be a good time to look at the dreams you dream, the beliefs you hold dear and the manner in which you communicate your vision to others. If you find that some of the dots are not connecting properly or that some of the data is not being fully exchanged or assimilated, you might want to check your methodology. Perhaps it's time for a system upgrade.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): In the face of rampant corruption, blatant lies, dominator and elitist politics and persecution of the underrepresented you may feel the need to speak up. After all, if fairness and balance is your aim, then rectifying the wrongs of the misguided should be your game. On the other hand, this may be the month to adopt the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy if you want to waver safely in the middle. Whichever stance you choose Libra, I advise you to rely heavily on your powers of observation. If you do speak up make sure your words are tied to your astute heedfulness as pertains to the matter at hand, whatever that matter might be. Tell both sides of each and every story with 100% accuracy while preserving your third party objectivity. Corroborate only if you were actually there and did the doing.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): Pick a fear - any fear. There is bound to be at least one lurking at just subterranean depth waiting to be obsessed over. Once you have uncovered it, identified it and summoned it up for scrutiny, realize you have just done a complete 180 in the customary scorpionic technique of seethe and suppress. Amazingly, this reverse process of emoting actually opens doors to transformation, inspires growth and invites expansion. I predict that, if you do this once a week beginning with the month of March, you will be quite skilled at this form of deep-sea diving and recovery by September of this year.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): Hitch your wagon to the stars and let that train of thought derail from the day-to-day drudgery of having to bounce between desires and distractions. There is a triathalon event calling with your name on it. This is the month to explore traversing land, sea and cyberspace all in the same event. They don't yet have an Olympic medal for it, not even an official category - but hey, that's why you're doing this! You get to make it up as you go along. For official rules and entry form, check your dreams this month for complete information.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): "When your mind is narrow, small things easily agitate you. Make your mind an ocean," said Lama Thubten Yeshe. Can you guess where I am going with this Capricorn? If you could only see what I see, you'd want to jump right into this veritable ocean awaiting and immerse your thoughts, drive and ambition in this vast body of possibility for the advantage of unchaining you from the daily grindstone you have come to recognize as your master. I know you are and accomplished swimmer and I have no doubt you are up for the challenge. Taking the plunge really comes down to a question of trust (I mean you, not them).

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): It may feel like there is a posse forming with the possible intent to strip you of the very freedoms that you not long ago handed these confused and ungrateful souls on a silver platter. And if it isn't the general public's love of you that seems to have cooled considerably, perhaps you're contending with a former someone special now posing as a jilted lover? You may be asking yourself, "where has all the love gone?" Is this just paranoia or is this really happening? Well, Aquarius, I think it's a little of both. March will be a good month to sort out the truth from the fantasy, the practical reality from the paranoid hallucinations. And the way to do this is to ask lots of questions.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20):
If there was ever a month to proudly fly the Piscean flag, this would be the one. Not only because this is your month to stand up and be counted -as sign #12 in the zodiac - but because you could really make it count for something in the grand scheme of the things. While your power of imagination is second to none, your ability to harness this vast, limitless yet ethereal creativity is an art of Piscean mastery and the rest of the zodiac would like to learn a thing or two about how this works. Perhaps you could show us a few tricks or maybe point us in the right direction as we explore the unlimited capacity of the imagination and the unfathomable power of belief
.
